The President of the Italian Republic, Sergio Mattarella, conferred honors of Merit of the Italian Republic to Giovanni Arras and Giuseppina Sgandurra

The President of the Republic of Italy, Sergio Mattarella, conferred, motu proprio, thirty-one honors of Merit of the Italian Republic to citizens who have distinguished themselves for activities aimed at promoting dialogue between peoples, against gender violence, for entrepreneurship ethics, for an active commitment in the presence of disabilities, for the help to people detained in prison, for solidarity, for choosing a life in volunteering, for activities in favour of social inclusion, the right to health and for acts of heroism.
The award ceremony will take place at the Quirinale Palace on 26 February at 11.30am.
Among the thirty-one people, Giovanni Arras and Giuseppina Sgandurra have been conferred the honorific title Cavalieri dell’Ordine al Merito della Repubblica Italiana "for the support offered to research with involvement and professionalism".
